The Mikasa MVH-304GH is a walk behind, reversible plate
compactor designed for the compaction of sand, clay and
asphalt. This plate compactor is a powerful compacting tool
capable of applying a tremendous force in consecutive high
frequency vibrations to a soil surface. Its applications include
soil compacting for road, embankments and reservoirs as well
as backfilling for gas pipelines, water pipelines and cable
installation work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The compactor’s vibrating plate maximum frequency is 4200
vpm (vibrations per minute). The forward and reverse travel speed
of the compactor is approximately 66 ft.\/minute (20 meters\/

Engine
The Mikasa MVH-340GHB Plate Compactor is equipped with
an air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder HONDA GX340K1SMX2
gasoline engine. The HONDA GX340K1SMX2 has a built-in oil
alarm engine shut-down feature. In the event of low oil or no oil,
the engine will automatically shut down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
